Movado 58498 wrist watches news:
In my opinion this is a Patek Philippe watch you just don't see every day. Not sure if it is still being made, but this is a Patek Philippe Ref. 5085 and is quite stunning for what it is. You really don't see a lot of Patek Philippe watches on metal bracelets aside from the sport themed Nautilus. This piece is extremely classic in style, and very legible. The movement is always quite pretty.Interestingly enough there are at least two types of casebacks for this watch. Some have exhibition casebacks and some have solid metal casebacks with the Patek Philippe Calatrava Cross logo on it. Why two versions? I don't think. Not sure if one is more rare than the otherwatches-dealering in a 37mm wide steel case, this isn't a very large watch, but in line with the size of most Patek Philippe classic watches. I love the highly polished rounded steel bezel and very utilitarian feeling hands and hour markers. The hands have thin strips of lume while the hour markers are accompanied by lume squares.
Fifteen years ago in Honolulu I first saw a Panerai. I loved it. I knew one day I would be wearing one. Yesterday was that day. I took the plunge and picked up a 164. Here's my first pic of my new wrist buddy.
Hi all,First time poster on the site. My dad has this watch and he wanted me to identify it for him but I'm clueless. Anyone out there that can assist? Thanks,PO
Hi everyone im new to this forum i live in anaheim i need some help to find a good place to get my pam polished any recommendations? Thank you in advance.
Purchased a sub c just over 5 years ago and wouldn¡¯t even call it a daily. Two years in it stopped and was told while still under warranty a jewel had come loose and jammed the movement. Received full service at the time Today just 3 years later I¡¯ve been daily wearing it while down in Florida Swimming etc but certainly nothing out of the ordinary. All of a sudden it just stopped. Tried winding but seems nothing catches when I¡¯m trying to wind it. I can change time and date no problem but nothing will get it going. Mainspring? Lube job? Stem problem ?Really though. Twice in 5 years. I beat the snot out of my Seiko daily and still runs like a top
