Movado 3600300 wrist watches news:
Hi Guys,Thanks for the very positive comments on my new WG DDII - my grail!I have been wearing it steadily since Friday when I picked it up from the AD. I must say that it is amazingly accurate right out of the box, so far, not having gained or lost even a second! That's very impressive. I think the watch is very beautiful and classic, yet contemporary in its 41 mm size. Some, mostly on other forums but here too, don't seem to like it and criticize its design. Actually, I think it is extremely well designed and very beautiful. Yes, the bezel is larger; yes, the crown is small, etc. But overall, to me it is well balanced and an outstanding design; I think it represents an evolution (not revolution) of the classic and very beautiful 36 mm DD, which to my eyes, seems a little small by today's standards on most men. Please, please do not take that as a criticism - the 36 mm DD is a gorgeous watch in its own right. For those of you fortunate to own a DD in any size, I admire your taste!Som
Hi all-I'm so happy to have found this forum! My watch obsession began several years ago with Rolex, but has branched out way beyond that to wherever the trail leads me. Lately, I've come to appreciate Longines and I wanted to share my recent vintage purchase. I enjoy an aged dial with character, and this one definitely checks that box. I also love the lugs on the L&K case. Currently, the 22a movement is being cleaned and fully serviced at ABC Watchwerks in LA. I'm leaving the dial and case alone. I'm excited to give this old beauty a little wrist time.According to Longines:
Recently I lost about 240$, well I'm in no position to just eat that so I have to sell something so I'm not completely broke. This has been one of my 'to do' projects. It's a mid 1960's Hamilton-Illinois automatic. It's in great shape, some light use on it, but I can't seem to get it open.I have a 3-pronged watch case opener, but the back seems to be stuck. I don't want to push too hard in case of scratching it.Is there a special way to open it? Just curious.
I remember I bought this white dial older mode jumbo 15202 few years back from AD before it was discontinued and replaced by newer Jumbo with AP logo at 6 o clock. White jumbo may not as popular as the blue dial. But I like it a lots. This white color is whiter compare to silvery color on 15300 or 15400 for instance. Seldom see the white dial jumbo in forum. Post yours if you have. And next to her is another blue dial GG design brother 5711 jumbo.
Hope it will be back soonAnyhow, weekend watch for this week!
