Movado 0605635 wrist watches news:
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this here but I¡¯d like to vent a little about what happened.I sent my Seamaster off to Omega to have a new bezel, dial and hands installed along with a complete work over of the movement and to have the case and band brought back to new. I had this handled by Jared Jewelers since I bought the watch thru them. They sent in the work order and the watch to Omega and a couple months later I got it back. When I got the call that my watch had came in I went up there to pick it up. Everything looked great aside from the band. They hadn't touched it, IMO. I asked the manager to give me my work order and on the WO it said "re-polish case and band to new condition". Okay, so Omega received the work order with my request and before Omega even did the work I had to okay the cost of the work before they would start. So they obviously knew that¡¯s what I wanted done. He then proceeded to tell me that Omega did in fact re-polish my band and that it wouldn't get rid o
hi gang, here's a wrist shot of my 116528. it's a spectacular watch. everytime i wear it, it makes me feel like an adultcl
Rik,Sorry.I posted this same question in the Omega Forum.Am I foolish to consider adding a cyclops to an Omega SMP?Due to my advancing age, I can't read the date on any of my watches without reading glasses. If i do this, will I void any warranty from Omega? Also, I need advice about getting a lens which will work and how to attach it (adhesive and directions).Feel free to tell me if this is one of the dumbest ideas of the year.I don't want to trash a nice watch, but being able to read the date without glasses sure would be cool.As I understand it, the cyclops and adhesive can both be removed without daming the crystal. Is this correct? Thanks in advance for your advice,Jeff
