- My husband was very pleased with this watch as a gift. I gave him a Sturhling Original last year for Christmas as well. It was a larger face than I expected, but the color was perfect, and it was still easy to read.

- Great for the person who can't see good without their reading glasses. The face on this watch is very large. Works great for me.

Just our of curiosity - with past economic downturns (read drastic market correction) many luxury consumer goods tend to get impacted more severely than others. So a couple questions for you WIS's. If you are a collector, what if any changes will you make in near future purchases? Secondly, in the upper scale (.i.e. Rolex, Omega, Patek, Brietling, etc..) is the downturn a good opportunity for picking up some good pre-loved additions while saving some $$$ ?
Hi to everyone, I m looking for a unique watch for the birthday of my dad. I have a budget of 5k€ and i would like to find a unique watch, because he already have Rolex and Breitling watches. As you can understand he likes athletic look. Thanks to you for the future ideas.Regards David
Enjoy!
I'm not sure whether this has ever come up before. My wife owns a ladys 33mm RG Nautilus, say about 5yr old or so, and she wears it as her daily. It has a bunch of microscratches/deskdive scratches and all, but no major dings of any sort. I started to realize one day that it started to look quite YGish, and needless to say when I compare it to new RG Nautilus it is quite yellowish. Now according to the AD, they said its quite normal as the copper mixed in with the RG oxidizes over time changing the hue/color. They claim that a light polish during service should bring the original color back, but I'm one of those against polishing unless really necessary. Does anyone know this for a fact?I have never seen this with Rolex's everrose gold, and I have not owned a Patek RG piece long enough to experience this and at the same time I take good care of my watches. I'm wondering whether having more scratches will expose the RG to more discoloration/oxidation???
