Omega 4833.50.31 wrist watches news:
Friday morning I flew down to Orlando to see my father for a long weekend. Thanks to the direct flight from Dayton, I flew out about 8am, landed about 10:30am, grabbed the bags, drove to my father's place, unpacked and was pool side by about 2pm. On the way to the club house and pool, I noticed what I thought was a gator and some turtles sunning themselves next to the pool - but I only had my point and shoot camera with me, so this is the only shot I got on Friday:So I kicked back and enjoyed the pool, and decided I'd bring my DSLR tomorrow:Saturday was just beautiful! Not a cloud in the sky! This pontoon plan made a few take offs and landings on the lake:I was hoping that gator would make it back out, but the only visitors to the local wildlife sunbathing spot were these turtles:But I kept a lookout....hmmm....waitaminute....what is that I see in the water?Yep....my buddy was back!I decided to go out into the grass and try to get a closer shot! I crept up behind him.....closer....c

Guys, I found a pretty good aftermarket strap option that I wanted to share. Like most I love the versatility & possibilities that the Speedy Pro offers when it comes to straps. I had tried a bunch to say the least!!Anyway check out this site stores.ebay/TimePieceRepublic for some decent options. I had been searching for some time for an alligator / deployant combo for my SP. I found this site and tried out an black alligator grain leather one with the deployant. To my surprise it is really quite good. Then I decided to see if an OEM Omega deployant would work with one of their straps. As most know the Omega deployants are designed to only work with Omega deployant straps. So¡ I picked up a brushed Omega deployant from Ofrei and guess what¡these straps work perfect! They are high quality and available in a wide range of colors, options, etc¡ If you want to pair one up with a OEM original deployant its all good. Make sure you order the straps designed for an Omega deployant. At t
Hello all,I've been really giving some thought to buying the Speedmaster Co-Axial Date - ref: 311.30.44.50.01.002 for several months. I bought my Moonwatch last January on vacation and find myself wearing it at least 4 days a week, if not more. My Daytona is down to about twice a month, after being my daily tool watch for almost 14 years. Dial legibility is the #1 reason for this decision - the Rolex is fine in the daytime, but after dark it is just about useless. Too much sparkle under dim light. I use the chrono function more than once a week. #2 on my rotation frequency is my GMT-C. Bold, solid, accurate, legible; excellent travel watch - and has a date function. The Glidelock clasp with the folding half-link is a wonderful feature that I use frequently. Rotating bezel works as a crude timer in some situations. Did I mention it has a date? So, down to my dilemma -I took both these watches with me to the Torneau/Omega shop yesterday and they had the Co-Axial in the display case. I'm o
So I've seen a number of threads on here about James Cameron and whether or not he wears or even owns a Deep Blue. Many have suggested he only has a sub (the one he bought after giving away his other one) that he wears. So tonight, we happened to be watching a documentary on Nat Geo about Titanic, and there was JC wearing a deep blue. The colors jumped out more on the big screen then the iPhone could capture, but it was def a deep blue. So I hope this settles the debate for a few.
