TAG Heuer CAV511B.FC6231 wrist watches news:
Four-time World Champion skier Bode Miller recently launched the new Hublot limited edition Bode Bang watch with a celebrity tennis match at Sutton East Tennis Club in New York City. The participants gathered to support Bode¡¯s relationship with the Harlem Junior Tennis and Education Program. Following the Celebrity Challenge, Bode led a basic tennis clinic with 50+ kids and then, along with Hublot, (on behalf of the Turtle Ridge Foundation) donated $10,000 to the organization. Best known for his skill on the slopes, Bode also knows his way around a tennis court. ¡°My family played a lot when I was growing up. If I wasn¡¯t skiing professionally I think I¡¯d be playing tennis.¡± Bode Miller and his family started The Turtle Ridge Foundation in 2005. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting health, diversity, and sustainable living through sports. In February 2009, Bode joined forces with Hublot to collaborate on design and development of the new Hublot Bode Bang limited edition
This Peyton was the first mechanical wristwatch I bought, after giving up on pocketwatches for daily use and deciding that quartz wasn't really what I wanted. I'd collected Hamilton PWs, so it was natural to go with a Hamilton for the wrist. When I got it, the back (stainless snap-on) was loose, and to be honest I probably made it worse, opening it to stare at the beautiful little 770 movement ticking away. I took it back to him, and he made it WAY worse, to the point of actually denting the back. Not only that, but he didn't tighten all the dial foot screws, so when the back popped off one time, and the movement almost fell out, the dial popped up a bit - just enough to push the sub-seconds hand off the arbor. Gone. Its other issue is that the crystal pops out - another thing he was supposed to fix. It pops right back in, but obviously isn't secure.I think I've figured o

It's Speedy Tuesday over at Fratellowatches and this week there's a very special, if not unique, Omega Speedmaster, one that was actually worn in space. Here's a wristshot from last weekend when we met the owner ;)The article can be found HERE
So I have been wearing my SD43 a lot lately, and I notice that my bracelet is squeaky. This is kind of a new thing for me as none of my other Rolex bracelet has that problem, including my sd4k which also has a solid link oyster ss bracelet. Has anyone had this problem. Any solutions that doesn't make the watch greasy such as oil / w40 etc...
