Concord has provided an image of the Concord C1 Worldtimer watch
Concord has provided an image of the Concord C1 Worldtimer watch to be soon unveiled at Baselworld 2008. The company has not mentioned any technical characteristics yet, on the photo you will notice a rotating world time indicator visible through a semi-circular aperture in the black carbon fiber dial featuring the bold combination of colors. The C1 Worldtimer also spotlights a date display and sweep seconds. It is equipped with a self-winding Swiss movement.

Hey guys,I picked up an old Marathon mil spec watch from the bay and was going to try and get it going. Seems to just need a service. It will run for a while if wound but feels dry when winding. A buddy of mine suggested spraying butane into the movement to clean and lube it at the same time. He claimed it was an old watchmaker's trick and recommended being careful of the dial.This sounds like pure lunacy to me. has anyone ever heard of anything like that?Thanks!Dan

Hello everybody,I hope this is allowed.I am new to the forum and have been reading trough your posts for awhile now. I finally decided on a small Datejust as my first ROLEX. I have a two year old and live by the beach so I am looking into something simple and everyday worthy but dependable and timless. I looked trough several recommended online sites, ADs and some of your member website but eventually found this:Brand new with papers and boxLadies26 Pink Dial SSOyster Braceletfor $5295 retail $6100Now I am a little confused about the pictures showing those little grooves on the side of the body.I can not find any other references or pictures for this model with those grooves.Too good to be true?
