Why did you purchase a Hamilton?
Wanted to get some feedback from you guys, what made you originally want to purchase a Hamilton? There is something about the Khaki field chrono's, I can't seem to find a watch that I want more, and especially the older ones. It's almost like the vintage does just as much for me as a new X-Wind. I mean it would be cool if someone offered me a Navitimer for the same price as the field chrono, but that wouldn't mean that I would wear the Breitling more or I would enjoy it more. My wife's a huge NASA fan, and when I was looking something up last night, I stumbled across the fact that the Speedmaster was worn on the Moon. Needless to say, she was seriously geeking out about this, and I love the look of the watch.What are the specs of the originals? I see that they're making an automatic variant instead of the original manual wind, but what else? Where should I look to acquire one that would be as true to the originals as possible?
