Seiko SNN275P2 wrist watches news:
When I first learned about this new Dee & Ricky limited edition G-Shock watches, I was like WTF?! Not that I would wear it, but I can appreciate the culture that created it. The watch design really started in the 1980s, though the designs may not be aware of that. It was the time of Lego and bright colors, and when wearing wild hues was fashionable until the mid 1990s (when thankfully florescent colors went out). The lineage of the style also is related to 8 bit gaming. Nintendo brought bright colors before our eyes on a daily basis in blocky glory. This watch is the summation of an entire pop culture generation. Nerds with focus, geeks with passion.? Designers Dee & Ricky are New York born twins who are self taught and highly inspired by their youth. If this watch is at all questionable to you, then simply view the video they made below with direct and video artist Kenzo Digital (which will appeal to all Lego and G-Shock fans). Don't worry, the Casio part of it comes in later
Hi,Just got this from my dad. He thinks he got it in the 50's.Can anyone tell me a bit about it?And what is the best way of cleaning it up a bit.albums.timg.co.il/userfolders...710.jpg?time=0

Finally won one on the bay within my budget. After buffing it out, the case has no wear through on the gold filling that I can find. There are the scratches.Even the brushed finish below the chevron is still there. The case is 14k gold filled and this one has the 21 jewel 719 movement. The hour and minutes dials are in good shape, with just a bit of yellowing on the minute one. The hour disc is white as snow. It runs and sets great. I put it on a suede period strap, mostly because that is what I had that fit ; )I did order a new crystal, as the current one is a bit clouded and buffing only removed a bit of it.The only issue is that the hour and minutes are off by just a bit, but it will have to wait in rotation for a trip to the watch tech.
Hello all. I was gifted a 15400ST (black dial) for my 16th birthday, and I'm really in love with it. It's really great. But my question is, is it socially acceptable to wear this at my age? From my experience a Rolex draws too much attention for someone my age and the AP is understated yet luxurious. Is this appropriate? Thanks!
