Fans of the Rolex Daytona know that Rolex has a long association with auto racing. What many may not know is that Rolex’s sister brand, Tudor, also has a close connection to motorsports, and strengthened those ties this year by becoming the “entitlement partner” of the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). Tudor first announced the partnership at its U.S. launch event on September 12, where attendees got a first glimpse of a specially branded Audi R8, representing the inauguration of what will now be called the Tudor United SportsCar Championship, sanctioned by the IMSA. My new 2254.50 arrived this afternoon. I took it out of the box, set the date, wound it 30 or 40 times, and....nothing. The second hand doesn't move no matter what I do, whether the crown is screwed in or out (in position 1, 2, or 3), walking around with it, etc. Is there something I'm missing, some extra step with these watches? I've never had this happen with any watch before.
I would like to thank John and Tom for a great job on setting up the WTF Forum watch. It has been a real project. And without their efforts, this would not have been possible. Also a special thanks to the forum moderators and members who supported this project. And, a special thanks to the members who purchased the forum watch.Regards,G¨¦rard M.
