- I love my new watch. A couple of links had to be taken out to fit me but it is a perfect fit now. The face is large enough for me to read the time without my glasses. I would highly recommend it.

Omega 4044/4 wrist watches news:
I read an article on another Rolex Forum (no names) about a theft of 60 Rolex watches in Japan, 40 mil yen worth. I'm sure they'll be hitting Ebay and other local less-than-honest websites very soon. Be aware. Check it out japantoday/category/c...atches-in-kobeBob
Okay, I like APs, and if one were given to me as a gift, I would wear it. But, come on, this one is going for $149,000. Yeah, it's platinum, but what could make this timepiece worth that much? I can't figure it out, so I turn to the board for answers. I just don't get it.DHOMG...what happened to the pic?
I recently received a watch that I have not been able to identify. Several jewelers have tried with no success, and one suggested that I try this forum. The watch is silver in color with gold trim and a mother of pearl face. It is a Swiss chronograph with 3 "eyes" and day & date windows. The back is crystal with the winding pendulum and works visible. The markings on the face are: SWISS CHRONOGRAPH and AUTOMATIC above the day/date window and the Bentley Flying B logo beneath the day/date windowThe markings on the back are: Bentley Flying B logo on the winding pendulum and 10 ATM WATER RESISTANT, 00104, CHRONOGRAPH, A 10 386 and a hallmark which looks a little like an anchor with the words SWISS across the top and QUALITY along the right side.I have attached photos in hope that someone may recognize this watch. I am trying to determine a value to add it to my insurance policy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm in love with my latest purchase. I had originally wanted a Rolex Seadweller. Truth be told it was a bit of a stretch at the moment and after trying on a few they left me feeling a bit cold. I stumbled across this beauty and can't believe how good it is in the flesh. The crystal is almost impossible to see, such is the quality of the AR and the overall build quality has blown me away. I have a Speedmaster Moonwatch already and this feels significantly more well engineered. Ok it's not got the cult classic reputation the speedy enjoys and is a completely different style of watch but I'm very very happy with this purchase. The display back particularly attracted me to the watch and I believe the movement is held I particular high regard (8500) co axial. Without rambling on too much, here are some pictures. It's a 42mm.
I guess it is futile to ask, you either know the answer to this question and can't post it here, or you don't, but I will ask anyway. A little guesswork and discussion never did any harm.Anyway, in another forum I came across a thread about dive watch A vs dive watch B. I did a a little research and found that one of these watches, an Omega costs almost as much as a new Submariner. To my thinking the Omega is not in the same league as a Submariner but the price is uncomfortable close. https://.omegawatches/en-us/w...ction/catalog/So, what gives? Is the Sub under priced? Is the Omega overpriced? Are they in fact equivalent watches so it makes sense to price them similarly?Given this situation and the fact that it is very difficult to get a new Sub, then I suspect the price of a new Sub is going up soon. Do you agree?
