Omega Omega 49773 wrist watches news:
I'm going with this Automatic that remains unnamed.
OK.I normally do not recommend buying faulty watches, as the repairs can really be horrendous. But if you can find a VERY 'interesting' watch, that looks good, offers something to your collection, and you can buy VERY cheaply.some times it is worth that 'risk'Wyler is an important Horological player, they made a VERY early and amazing automatic (1931). The made an 8 Day watch prior to 1930 and there patented ''Incaflex' systerm, prior to 'Incablock' in 1933“Wyler became well-known in the past because of their invention of the Incaflex balance wheel with flexible arms that could help absorb horizontal shocks. This they used in conjunction with the more commonly used Incabloc shock that absorbed shock on a vertical axis. Now, when you have something that can deform on both the vertical and horizontal axis in the car industry, they call this variable geometry."Here is a rare picture of the 'INCAFLEX' systemBased on that, I recently purchased this Wyler Incaflex (not running) for UND
Hi guys, I recently just got this Beauty: Can anyone tell me more about this Watch beside the info I found here: .omegawatches/collecti...22263462001001
Finally got the call late last week! Big thanks to the members on the forum who helped convince me to pull the trigger & buy the 5711 blue dial 'sight unseen'. Big leap of faith and the photos just don't do it justice! My local dealer was a hero getting me bumped up his list a few months ahead of my wedding .. and even gave a 10% discount to retail as a special present! Guess he knows he'll see ALL my business going forward! Thanks for the support guys - glad to finally be part of the club.. my first non-rolex piece! PS - new member alert-- i'll have to figure out how to rotate pictures going forward! sorry!
Hi everyone,I'm hoping to purchase my first Rolex this month or the next. I have my sight set on a brand new Submariner Date. I can pay by either credit card, check or cash. After doing some research there are quite a few authorized dealers in Chicago but their reviews are all over the place. It seems like C.D. Peacock at Old Orchard and the Razny by Michigan Avenue have the best reviews so I might try my luck at those places. Any other suggestions are welcome. My main question is if I offer to pay the watch in full by credit card, check or cash, should I aim to go for no tax and 10% off msrp? Or it's already a good deal to pay the msrp with no tax?I really don't have any experience buying something this valuable from a jeweler.Any help is appreciated!!Thanks!!
