Omega Co-Axial Seamaster

Late 30's Elgin Streamline
I can't find an exact match in the ads, but my guess is that its from the Streamline collection, late 30's.The watch measures a small 21mm across, with a dainty 14mm between lugs. Length wise, it runs 41mm lug to lug and it is a bit chunky height wise.

My GIANT Elgin Thermometer Arrived Today ! ! ! ! !
Hey guys !I bought myself a present last week and it arrived safely today.A giant "ELGIN WATCHES" Thermometer ! ! ! ! ! It's 12" across and it's in near mint condition, looks like it just came out of the original factory packaging ! ! !The case is aluminum with a GLASS crystal ! ! ! ! !I tested it against the digital ones we have in the house and the temp gauge is spot on correct to boot ! ! !Can anybody tell how old this thing is by the "ELGIN" font style ? ? ? ?1950's - 1960's maybe ? ? ?I really have no idea why I bought this but soon as I saw it I just had to have it!Just need to find a good spot to hang it on the wall now...................

Omega service problem
I dropped my seamaster planet ocean off for service on 6/11. I was told it would take about 6 weeks for service. I called yesterday to check on it and am now being told it won't be done until August 20th. I find this unacceptable. Has anyone else experienced this excessive service time? I know when I had my older seamaster serviced it took about 8 weeks but not close to eleven. Why can't they get it right? Every Rolex I've had serviced has been completed early or on time. Omega needs to get their act together. Just venting.

I try to send email regarding maintenance in the past few days, on .patek/en/contact, but when I hit the send button, it always show, There has been an error while saving your request. Our technical staff has been notified, please try again in a few hours.Had anyone ever success to contact PP by email,, through the contact sections? or the contact section on their website had never work properly? thanks a lot

Disappointed
This post is not meant to flame the Patek brand. I'm just frustrated and I want to share my experience with you guys. My first Patek, 5711, developed the sticking date issue. Now my second one, 5980, is having problems. I first noticed a small bubble on the minute hand's luminova. Very minute but noticeable under a loupe. Today, I discovered that the seconds hand doesn't reset to 12; it resets at 11. Going to bring it back to the AD tomorrow Thanks for letting me rant. Have a great weekend all.
