Inherited Omega watch
What an interesting site here! I was looking for some information on a Bulova I recently purchased, and happened upon it. Some really neat information, here!!I have inherited an Omega Constellation from my grandfather. As I understand it, it is from the 30s or 40's and belonged to my great-grandfather, before getting to me through my grandfather. I'd like to take it someplace to try and get the vintage verified (not that it's EVER going to go to anyone other than my sons), and have it repaired so I can wear it. I don't have the first clue how to go about getting that done, and was hoping someone here might know. Would I contact Omega for something like that? Are there well-known repair shops that would be more trusted to deal with this sort of thing, than others? I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and would prefer to deal with someone local, if possible.Thanks for any help!!

Rolex/Seawater Care
I promiseI am making a big promise that I will have pictures of my Rolex when I return from my honeymoon...Anywyas, I leave in the morning and I'll be in the ocean everyday for a good week, and I worry about the stel vs. sea water and it perhaps causing future damage to my time piece. Does anyone have any advice, or anything I should do related to care and cleaning to keep from having any problems...

Think I may have done well here - but if only I could tell green from gold!What I think I have is a 1931 Square B Plain with 987-F movement and etched dial no. 65. Gold filled case and bezel. If it's natural gold then this is one of 2,193 made. However, if it's green gold then it is one of 263. I'll assume natural gold fill unless proven otherwise. Making a wild guess that half the production run had the etched dial then this is one of about 1,000 examples. All for 111 bucks!!ebay image, my watch.
