- I'm just not that impressed and so am returning this watch. It has a very large face and with the leather strap, it felt almost masculine. I'm a girly-girl type and it just doesn't work for me.

Omega 123.25.35.20.52.001 wrist watches news:
Hello! I'm new here and have been looking for quite some time for a watch forum to join. I just purchased my 2nd Rolex. It's the SS/Platinum ladies Yatchmaster. I looked at quite a few watches at this AD and saw that none of their new watches had the green sticker on the back. They had to order my watch because they didn't have it in stock. I went to pick it up last night and noticed that it didn't have the green hologram sticker on the back either even though it was still packaged up (but I think the jeweler removed most of the protective plastic off of the band. I'm not sure how much plastic is on the typical Rolex but there were only a few small pieces that I had to take off at home). He also pulled off a clear piece of plastic off of the back of the case (where the green sticker would have been. He might have removed the green sticker when the watch came in and put this clear plastic back on until I arrived, I'm not sure?). I was just wondering why there wasn't a green sticker? Has

I was interested in the new 42 ceramic as I¡¯m looking for a easy daily AP. Had some time to kill and stopped by the boutique today. While the overall weight makes it an easy piece to wear, the ceramic bezel did not have the vertical lines that the 44¡¯s have. It was a smooth finish. The one thing that I could not get past to put a deposit down was the strap. All other new AP rubber straps are all matte finished and pliable. This strap was stiffer than usual. (The best strap is on the titanium 44)But the biggest non starter was the shiny strap. It¡¯s like how a rubber strap gets after years of use. I had the 44 titanium out as well and the salesperson said she noticed it too. Here are some pics...And for the strap...
Well I am watch shopping again and recently on a trip to Singapore to an AP AD was lucky to find they had the blue 15400 as well as the black and white models as well. I then asked them about possible gifts they can throw in as I assume they couldn't give discounts. Then the sales person proceeded to tell me they can give me a discount, not just on the black/white models but also on the blue model as well. This really took me by surprise, as I know the blue one is boutique only and they are notorious across the brands to not being able to offer a discount. Is this just a one-off - have other people been offered this as well? Or is it a sign that the luxury watch market is going soft? As our learned friend archieluxury is saying recently. Btw the discount offered was 10% on black/white and 5% on the blue
Unfortunately it would seem I need to send my watch into APSC. If you read my thread from last week you saw I had an issue with the date wheel sticking (which luckily seems to not be an issue anymore), as well as a little bit of slow time keeping.I am about -5SPD which I know is nothing to worry about, however, the first more serious concern i had is that, while winding the watch, i noticed the second hand slowed down a little. Almost noticeable to the eye.I stopped in the AP Boutique in NYC a couple days ago, and got my hands on some other 42MM ROOs. Not only did those watches not behave the same way while winding, but I also realized that both winding and tightening the crown on my watch is very rough to the feel and sound. Almost like a grinding.I compared my watch to a few others that day and they were all butter smooth. I was told at the boutique that it should definitely go in for warrantied service and/or at least get checked out by their watchmakers.Of course that brings m
