- I bought this for my husband as a gift and he really loves it. It is heavy and made well and looks like a mans watch. The watch was too large so he had two links taken out and even the jeweler mentioned what a nice watch it was.

- This watch is very elegant, however it is not the sort of watch that will hold up to every day use, washing dishes, showers etc, regardless of what it may state... The blem is you usually cant get both durability and beautiy in the same watch without spending well over what this watch costs... If you wear this carefully it may hold up.

Omega 121.92.41.50.01.001 wrist watches news:
I am trying to locate an oyster brushed bracelet #78790a off of an Explorer 2 or GMT 2 with solid end links to install on my Daytona 116520. Any help will be appreciated.
I strapped up a few of my smaller sized cases with finds from Ebay. 99% of the narrow straps found there are for Ladies watches and only 6 ? in long which just doesn¡¯t cut the mustard if I plan on wearing many of my Bulovas and some Elgins and Walthams. Here¡¯s an example of a Lord Elgin from 1945. It has a 21j 559 and the star on the dial indicates it¡¯s ¡°timed to the stars¡±.Next is a little freckle faced Bulova made in 1949.It¡¯s running a 17j 10BM movement and has a touch of engraving on the bezel that I need to pick out with some enamel.Third has a 1933 Sapphire filled Waltham . This is the 15j movement in the ¡° Jewel¡± family of 6/0¡¯s. I think this is a jobber case but the rose gold and copper dial are very attractive. I haven¡¯t seen enough 30¡¯s Waltham cases to know if they signed all of their factory watches. 6/0 jobber cases are fairly common.Joel
i HATE when my watches get dirty. i wipe whatever i'm wearing that day with a cloth every day before removing it from my watchbox and before returning it to my box. however, i get smudges throughout the day and it drives me insane. do any of you keep a cloth with you or bother cleaning your piece throughout the day? side point 1- any recommendations on a good cloth. mine is kind of an el cheapo and i would like to get something decent. i don't have any gold or anything so that shouldn't be a concern. side point 2 - whats the best way to really clean a watch?
I was not able to find a decent vintage Omega Ploprof so I bought this Ocean7 watch and put an Omega mesh band on it and it looks and works great- all togther around $1350.00-now I find Omega has reissued the dive watch even though the new watch looks have slightly changed-LM7 seems to look more like the original Poprof than than the new Omega-but not really knowing the watch market or quality is the Ocean7 a decent watch?
AP just released a 42mm steel chrono w ceramic bezel at 2018 SIHHAP listened to its base. 44mm was too big for many.Perhaps Rolex will release a 42mm DaytonaLots of Rolexes base think 40mm(38.5) is too small
