Omega 15897500 wrist watches news:
I've seen this model on e-bay a couple of times in the last few months. I'm wondering if it's an original model or a Franken. I don't see it in Shugarts or in Will Roseman site. The earliest Hamilton model in both being an O-size, 981 Cushion from around 1917? Is the watch in the photo (copied from e-bay) a variation of the 981 Cushion?thanks
Hi, This is my old Swiss made Ellis. I know little about the make other than it is Swiss.inside the case back there are several marks which I guess are service dates, but I am not sure. In order from top to bottom they read- 718W, 829W, 456, and cant read the next few lines then it reads 11-08. Case back also says S. Kocher & Co Swiss. Anyone able to help age this watch? Thank you, I do appreciate the assistance.DSCF1071a.jpgDSCF1072a.jpg
USPS kindly delivered my first Breitling today. Superocean II Abyss with blue ring on Pro II bracelet. Apparently, I don't have the correct size screwdriver to adjust this bracelet so it will have to keep resting on it's pillow for now. It looks fabulous in person! I will post much better pics once it is ready for action! (Stickers and protectors staying on for now in case I have to take it somewhere to get it sized).
I recently noticed that the Patek website has added a few new films supporting their motto of You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation. They have added Sydney, Bangkok and Los Angeles. I think these are all nice additions. I wonder what cities they will add next..patek/en/communicatio...nerations-film
So I'm wondering about these new heavy style jubilee link bracelets, specifically for ladies watches (if that makes a difference). The links appear to be tighter and more compact- therefore are these new bracelets better at resisting the notorious jubilee stretch over time? Also for the ladies models, is there such a thing as a DJ w/ jubilee bracelet that comes in white gold and steel bracelet? Or are all of them all steel? If the WG and steel bracelets do exist, are they a relatively new introduction? Thanks ya'll!
