Omega 123.25.27.20.55.003 wrist watches news:
The Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe is not the most complicated watch in Blancpain's collection. But it may be the one it's the most attached to. The first diver of the modern era, it was backed heavily by diving enthusiast and then CEO of the brand Jacques Fiechter. For that reason, Blancpain has been approaching its beloved icon with some caution, making only subtle changes over time. This latest variation brings the introduction of a plasma gray ceramic case ¨C a material which looks like brushed stainless steel, but is in fact a much lighter, harder and stronger substance (and much more resistant to corrosion than stainless steel, which can pit if exposed to salt water and not rinsed properly). 1 OF 3 Blancpain experimented with the material in 2014 with the release of the limited edition Bathyscaphe Chronograph Flyback Ocean Commitment, and they gave the Fifty Fathoms a satin-brushed black ceramic case 12 months later.Blancpain have now adopted the grey version for the mode
I recently acquired my first Omega watch. It is a 1967 Seamaster Automatic DeVille 565 in a 9 carat gold case. Now I know that I have not seen that many Seamasters, but I just wondered if this dial is unusual in that it has a full set of Arabic numerals except the number 3 of course. Those that I have seen all seem to have batons instead of numerals, although I have seen some with the numbers 3,6,9 and 12.DSCF0006.jpgDSCF0012.jpgDSCF0002 - Copy.jpgDSCF0003 - Copy.jpg

This is the watch behind my questions on this post regarding the WIS-Disease: This is a disease, isn't it?.It arrived a couple of days ago, but I was not able to snap some pictures until this AM. I am very happy! It shows a little more wear than I was hoping for, going to take it to my jeweler and see if they can buff the case a bit - but it is a beautiful watch, I love the detail on the dial. Some picts:Dial Detail:Enjoy!B
Hello all. I have the chance to get a g serial 15300 black dial in pretty much nos unpolished condition with all boxes and papers. It was sold in 2012 and sent to ap for third year warranty. Sellers bottom dollar is $11,500 usd. So my question is, with the recent jump in 15300 prices dose anyone expect a drop in value anytime soon or maybe prices to rise more? As these are getting harder to find in this condition do you think this is a sound deal? Thanks for your insight. Btw I know no one has a crystal ball and who knows what will happen, I'm just looking for your best guess.
