- I couldn't pass up the price on this one. It's got a beautiful face, clean looking, although the subdials are a little , they couldn't be any larger. I bought this one for a dress watch, it's a real dazzler.

Carl F. Bucherer now makes a budget line of Swiss watches, B. Swiss, which the company says is "sold to tourists" in its retail outlets. This strategy protects the high-end Bucherer watches.*_____________*Boscoe's comment: Yeah, right - this is the same company that described America as a "wasteland for watches" though execs concede we're getting smarter.
I tried on a planet ocean 2500 with a really thick but comfortable NATO strap. It was such a comfortable fit for me, as most Omega divers are just too big for me. Does anyone else believe that the PO 2500 will become as, or near as popular as the speedmaster Moonwatches...This watch was not for sale, which made me want it even more, I believe...How about some photos of the PO 2500 on any strap...
I've just been to a local AD looking at Speedmasters and Seamasters.A very helpful assistant came along and we got talking. After some mooching around he offered me a Speedmaster Chronograph (which I presume wasn't a Professional as it wasn't mentioned on the dial) for the discounted (10%) price of ¡ê1890.It's 38mm I believe (or maybe 40mm ?) and has a tachymetre and on the case back it says that it's ok to 100m/330ft.It has the 2500 (Valjoux 7750) movement and yes, it is a bit noisy I thought for a first try that wasn't too bad a price. Could somebody enlighten me further? Also what differences are there between that and the 300m/600m ones? (Apart from the depth!)Am I missing anything major? I'm new to Omega's.They had the newer ceramic Seamasters which are a little bit chunky. They are very glossy looking though - niiiiiice! Many thanks.EDITActually I've been reading some more and as the layout on the one I've seen has the sub-dials at 6-9-12 I believe this is the 1164 movement, rather t
Was hoping to get some opinions on a swap a friend of mine is considering to make.He has a RO time only in rose on leather that he bought from an AD 3 years ago. Believe he paid low 30s. He has a 7 day iwc portugese as well and is trying to make a swap for a 5712r on leather. He has 2 offers for the swap from two non AD , plus 17 and plus 14 cash. Seems like it's a consistent market. I encouraged him to look at new mint preowned as my 5711 is.Prices look right? Would urge new or would you be comfortable saving 5 or so k for preowned on this reference? I already have offers for more than I've paid on the 5711. TyvmSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
