I'm heading to my favorite shops in Tokyo to see if any of the new models have been delivered (right; I know they haven't), and I'll probably be wearing my GMT IIC. It will be around 95 degrees (35 Celsius) today with high humidity; just like yesterday. Tokyo in August is like one big sauna.
Finally did the conversion today! The AP leather straps are very comfortable to wear, and certainly change the look of ROC drastically in a positive way Had a hard time choosing the style of the straps, but finally settled with the safest and most classical black straps which I believe is versatile for all occasions. I am the only one that thinks that the leather straps that are available for the MOTM 20mm tapered to 18mm are borderline feminine?I love the watch, cant stand the strap width, and it's crazy how much 2mm changes the appearance of the straps
Okay looking for thoughts and opinions from TRF members. Please limit your answer to the watches in question. So you have one watch a 114060, that will remain in the collection. You need to add one more. There will be no other watches in the collection. Which would you choose and why?Rolex 116618 LN (solid gold sub, ceramic bezel black)Rolex 118206 (36mm day date, platinum blue dial sticks)Edit Added a shot of the 114060
