Omega 105.004-64 wrist watches news:
Just got a limited edition skeletonized Rotary watch off ebay - yes, the one that was on shop NBC. I love the look and watching the movement. I work where I cannot wear a watch throughout the day and will wear the watch for maybe 2 hours at night. I have been winding it every morning or putting it on the watch winder that it came with. The thing is running at about +30s a day! What gives? is it just because it sits so much? How much does it usually cost for an adjustment? Thanks!
Just wondering does a new Breitling depreciate a lot more than a Rolex?
As some of you remember, I attended a Swiss Watch Event at a local AD last fall. The manager was gracious enough to allow me to spend a couple of hours comparing the Rolex Deep Sea, all the PO models, and the PloProf.I had admired that PO since its introduction in 2005 but could never decide on a configuration; 42 or 45.5, black/orange bezel, red/white numerals. It did not take me long to decide that the Deep Sea was not for me. I am big on comfort and the DSSD seemed unbalanced due to the heavy head and light bracelet. The smooth caseback let it slip from side to side on my round wrist.Focusing then on the Planet Ocean, I decided that I preferred the 45.5 with black bezel and red numerals for a bit of color. The watch was much more stylish and nicely finished than the DSSD but still tended to slip from side to side. Certainly a snug fit is achievable by adjusting the links but my wrist contracts and expands during the day. An all day fit would be close to impossible. That left the
Hey guys, I set the Speedie two weeks ago to the Atomic Clock and to my dismay checked yesterday and it had lost close to 13 minutes. Reset it yesterday and it lost one minute over night.I generally leave it on one side one night, flat the next and rotate it that way.Bought the watch about a month ago from a gentleman on TZ. Suggestions? Thanks guys,BTW-Pretty sure it is still under warranty so may just take it to an AD
Extremely proud to have achieved this. My most sincere thanks to all of you, for having guided the way with such overwhelming knowledge and incentive, be it directly, to those who kindly responded my PMs, or simply for sharing the joy through all the fantastic pictures and information here. The first wrist shot:And the celebration shot:
