Breitling a2133012/b571-2LT wrist watches news:
Panerai has announced a stable of new models this week at Watches & Wonders in Hong Kong. Among a range of new Radiomirs, we find two very cool limited edition dial variations for the Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days Titanio DLC. Panerai's vintage-inspired 1950¡¯s line offers a time-proven aesthetic that reflects the early days of the Luminor case and the addition of its now iconic lever action crown guard. With the 1950 3 Days Titanio DLC, Panerai is offering a "best of both worlds" solution that provides their classic Italian diver-style in a lightweight but scratch-resistant DLC titanium case. These two limited edition Luminors differ only by dial design. The PAM617 (above, left) employs Panerai¡¯s classic black logo sandwich dial with the distinctive 12, 3, 6, and 9 numerals and a sub seconds display, while the PAM629 (above, right) is given a "cali dial," which mixes arabic and roman numerals in a nod to the early Radiomirs that bore a similar dial design. The PAM629's dial is otherwi
The perpetual calendar is among the most highly regarded complications in?horology ¨C and?with good reason. The way its all-mechanical brain knows the lengths of the months throughout the years and makes the date display jump from the 28, 29, 30 or 31st day to the?1st all by itself, even in leap years, is?genuinely amazing to all watch enthusiasts ¨C while its exact workings?is understood by much fewer. The four new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar watches for 2015 bring back the terrific looks of the original "RO QP" ¨C the Royal Oak Quenti¨¨me Perpetual ¨C albeit at a slightly larger size.Originally designed?in 1981, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar to this day, remains one?of the most timelessly beautiful dress watches with this complication. What's new in 2015 is that the "new" models, by the reference?26574OR.OO.1220, are 2 millimeter wider, coming in at 41 millimeters now (that is, excluding the crown, as always). Two versions in steel and two in pink gold,
This just came back from the watchmaker...huge storm out...can't get any natural light so I will try for better pics tomorrow.Just wanted to share this as I have never seen another one like it:
Is that even a word? Ohh well, I figured I would show you the watch I wear everyday.
1. I don't know if it is my place to say this, but I think it would be a disservice to 18k white gold Pepsi owners to release a stainless steel Pepsi this year. I believe it would be akin to Lamborghini stopping production of the Huracan and the following year releasing an exact copy of the Huracan but only with a 4 cylinder VW motor at 1/3rd to 1/4th the price. I don't see Rolex releasing a Pepsi in SS this year for that reason. I think it could have the potential to devalue the white gold version.2. Nicknames... Superhero and muppet and cola can nicknames have been around for a long time. I don't think they're going anywhere. Reference number is definitely a better way to refer to a watch, but the nicknames are part of the Rolex watches. I don't think the nicknames are going anywhere.3. Pepsi and Coke... In my opinion, were accurately applied to GMTs with aluminum bezels. I don't think my opinion matters much, but I think cerachrome bezel inserts warrant a different nickna
