I received this watch two weeks ago. It looks just like the picture. I have several watches but I find that I wear this one all the time because it looks so good and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. I am going to purchase two more to put away for gifts.The watchband is a large and I had to have four links removed.

Hamilton Ventura Information
Hello,I hope someone here can help me out. I am in the U.K and have just bought my first Hamilton from an authorised U.K retailer.It is the Ventura model number : H24411732. I have a few questions about my watch and Venturas in general.My watch does not have any crystals on the face or lugs, however on the Hamilton site when i searched for my model (H24411732) it shows the Ventura with crystals despite their catalogue showing the watch (H24411732) without them. Could anyone explain why this might be?Also on my back plate I expected to find the model number engraved but instead it has H244110. Is this usual?I apologise for the questions but I hope someone could shed some light on this.Also is there a thread which details the different models/year of make of each Ventura Hamilton have produced?Thank youDave

I bought a 1967 Brietling Top Time model 2002 from a friend of my father last year, its stainless steel with a round silver face and two sub dials for the chronograph. Have had it serviced and a new glass fitted it looks quite smart & keeps good time. It would be nice to have a correct box for it but as yet no one has been able to tell me what shape or colour the box should be, so does anybody out there have any ideas ? or has anybody got a 1960's brieting with the original box that they could send me a photo of.

My day at the AD
Yesterday I decided that today is the day to go down and try on some AP's. Granted I have tried on a 15300 before but that was it and I really wanted to see what they were all about as I love them in pics. Well, my closest AD is 2 and a half hours so I woke up early and took a half day at work then made the drive down to Naples. I must say that the AD could not have been any nicer. Their staff treated me like a VIP client even though I told them I had no interest in buying today and that I was just looking. I ended up talking watches for about 2 hours in there and had an absolute blast! Definitely worth the 5 hours in the car yesterday. Onto what i tried on. The first watch I tried on was a IWC Ingeniuer..no pics but a cool watch nonetheless. After fooling around with that and some other pieces for a bit I finally made it to the AP SectionThe first AP I tried on was the ROO Panda on a bracelet. WOW!!
