I recently learned that this watch does not yet have an official name. It will sometime next year. This is a new version of the Ralph Lauren Sporting watch. It has an elm burl wood dial and face that is meant to evoke the interior of one of Ralph Lauren's cars from his personal collection - a 1938 Bugatti (that is as sexy as a top model). Longines Hydroconquest Week One Time Keeping
Ok here its been one week where I set it last Sunday according to my atomic watch @ 1min 15 seconds fast.This evening it was at 1min 20 seconds fast against the same time.That I know is good...but I have a question about it....In the AM ( I sleep with my watches on) it is slow...from 5 to 7 sec slow this week...I check it about 7:30 each AM.In the PM about 7:30 (12 hours later) its been 5-9 sec fast.So whats the deal?...I figure over a week if the over all gain was exactly 5 seconds thats awesome...but why the daily fluxuations...my Omega 2538.20 does this too...daily variations, however my 2254.50 and my Hammy chrono (like the Longines) does not...the are very consistant throughout the day.
