As some here will remember, this book was mailed to me back on October 27th. I feared it had been lost in transit. Well, it finally arrived this morning, four weeks to the day after mailing! It's appearance was somewhat unusual and caused a minor stir, so I thought I'd photograph the process of opening it up and share it with you all!The most remarkable thing was the green sandbag-like woven bag it arrived in, prominently wearing the marque of the Italian postal service.The bag itself was closed with not one but two tags.The first assured me that the contents had been x-rayed for my, and your protection! The second, less exciting, testified to its dispatch date - in case you didn't believe me!
