Omega ST 105.002 wrist watches news:
Hello, after visiting Watch Talk Forums as a guest, I finally joined and am a new member. Cool. I must say that this was a huge resource for me, as far as making a choice on the purchase of my first nice watch. There are so many pitfalls an unexperienced watch buyer can fall into that it was reassuring to be able to get information to make an informed decision. With that said, I should be receiving my new Oris watch this Friday. Can't wait! After looking at various brands, researching, and more researching, I decided on Oris because I felt it was the best watch for me right now. Although, I'm sure it won't be my last, I am very excited about it. It seems as though Oris stands for excellent quality and craftmanship. I will post some pcitures and more info as soon as I get my new Oris. BTW, it's an SS black dial with rubber strap (300m). cheers.
Snagged this Mate from eBay Friday evening for $160. There are two small spots of wear on the bezel and it could use a new crystal. The first order of business will be to apply black enamel to the bezel and midcase engravings. The seller indicated that the dial has been refinished sometime in the past, so I won't have any qualms about sending it and the hands to ID. I believe it should be two-tone (Greg/Rick?). Then off to the watch doctor for a fresh service even though it's currently running and keeping time.
Picked this up after picking up the same LE with the silver dial on mesh bracelet a couple of weeks ago. Went with the Ocean Racer rubber strap with the Gun Stratus Blue dial for this one. The pics do not do the blue dial justice, it really pops and changes color in different lighting.
Another of my father's work watches.Forgive me, I forgot to include today's date in the thread header.
I wait for 9 months before I receive the watch. It is a special watch for me. Attachment 695676Attachment 695677Attachment 695678Attachment 695679
