Omega cal. 269 wrist watches news:
At SIHH 2016 in January, Audemars Piguet has gone for what many would consider old-school horological luxury ¡ª releasing a new version of its Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar in classical yellow gold. Why yellow gold, you might ask ¡ª a material that has in recent years fallen out of vogue in the watch aficionado community. Audemars Piguet, whose motto “To break the rules, you must first master them” is on bold display here, refers to it as luxury watchmaking’s “most elemental material… the universal emblem of indestructible beauty, energy and light… symboliz[ing] wealth and power.” Like the most recent models of the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar, in steel and rose gold (and more on which can be discovered here), this watch has a 41-mm case in the classical octagonal style of the Royal Oak collection and featuring a clear, glareproof sapphire caseback. WTF Members & Guests:Welcome to the new Watch Winder Forum on WATCH TALK FORUMS. Special thanks to WTF's newest sponsor ORBITA CORPORATION for being the chief sponsor of this forum. So sit back, relax, and let's talk about a sub-hobby of watch collection - watch winders!!!
Yes, it's getting close to that time - the End of Year State of the Collection threads! Pictures are a plus but not necessary. Whether you have a list or not, it's all about the changes you made in 2009....and judging by July & November there's a lot. I guess we'll start sometime around Christmas so be ready. This will be the first time I kept track - well, I tried. It's not as terrible as I thought, but I still have that nagging feeling I left one or two off my records. Did you keep a list? Do you flip enough to bother? Or do you flip so much it's not feasible to keep track? (drster & Sharky need not answer the last question on the grounds they may incriminate themselves ).
Contemplating swapping my DSSD for a 323?Any opinions on this watch or does anyone have good or bad experiences?
