Omega Omega 51683 wrist watches news:
Been a fan of the new Chrono Hawk watches from Girard-Perregaux but really been waiting for one on a bracelet? When the collection debuted in late 2012 they were on rubber-lined leather straps in black or brown. The sister collection of Sea Hawk dive watches that debuted at the same time were on rubber straps. While decent looking, I personally always felt that this was a watch collection in need of a bracelet to really complete the theme - especially the Chrono Hawk. That time has finally come. For early 2014, Girard-Perregaux finally debuts the Chrono Hawk in steel on a bracelet. The design strongly hearkens back to the Laureato collection of watches from Girard-Perregaux that helped inspired the Chrono and Sea Hawk timepieces. Went to a charity auction over the weekend and nabbed this manual-wind pocket watch for $20. I don't know much about it but it looks cool and I really like the skeleton case. Since it's a little bigger than a wrist watch you can really see what's going on in there. If anyone has any more info on what it is I'd be glad to hear it. But no matter what, for $20 I'm happy.
One of our clients just dropped off this beautiful, rare watch - a pre-Daytona Rolex Chronograph 6238 with a Tiffany & Co. dial.Serial number dates it to circa 1958. We are going to try to work with Rolex and/or Tiffany to see if we can get some additional documentation on the watch. This is a very unique, special piece and we are treating it as such. When the watch is sold, we want all parties to be 100% comfortable!!Check out a few pictures. More are available on our blog: Pre-Daytona Rolex Chronograph 6238 with Tiffany & Co. dial.If you have any information on the watch, don't hesitate to share. Thanks!!
Rounding out the white metal collection with a couple of Calatravas, AC, Chronograph and a skeleton watch.
