- I love this watch. Bought two of them, different colors. They look terrific, and with my eyesight even I can tell what time it is. They are super comfortable and I feel very chic wearing them.

Omega Omega 21747 wrist watches news:
About a year ago I was in a little village in the mountains of Afghanistanand was in a little shopI asked the man if he had any watches andhe goes into the back and takes out a coffee can and pulls out alittle watch that he says "No Good"Now Afghanistan has had many foreign armies, the British,Russians etc. over the years and this little guy wasprobably left by one of them many years ago...I gladly pay the 5 bucks or so that he wanted and brought it home.It sat around for monthsThen Stan comes along the forum and a light bulb goes off....Oh Stan, I have a little challenge for you!"Like all foreign policy developments of this period affecting Afghanistan, the conclusion of the "Great Game" between Russia and Britain occurred without the Afghan ruler's participation. The 1907 Anglo-Russian Entente (the Convention of St. Petersburg) not only divided the region into separate areas of Russian and British influence but also established foundations for Afghan neutrality. The convention provid
I just got this today. It is an Elgin Deluxe, 32mm across, and 10K gold filled. The 647 manual movement has 17 jewels and was adjusted to 4 positions at the factory. The case, dial, and hands are in great shape. The only issue, is that the caseback isn't original. I did a little Googling on the subject and saw that the original casebacks were hard to remove and were often severely scrapped or bent as a result. Here's a picture of it:Other Elgin Deluxe models received this 4 hole, screw in model like this:Mine is from the I.D. case company (which was based in New York and made cases through the sixties) and it closely mimics the caseback above. It has been on the watch at least from 1964, as who ever serviced it inscribed it on the inside of the case. Maybe if I can find an original caseback, I'll install it, but I just don't see it harming the watch to that great of an extent.By the way, here's photo of the same watch I found at an auction house. It seems that the dial and hands
Hello Guys I am considering getting my wife a RO too. She loves wearing my 15400, but it's a bit on the large size for her (not that it prevents her from using it). Since there are no ADs anywhere close to where we live and I would rather make a surprise, I was wondering if anyone could share pictures of the 39mm 15300 of the 37mm 15450 in a 15,5cm / 6,2 inch wrist. Thank you Andr¨¦
I finaly received my Speedmaster... And i have to say this watch realy sings to me. Feels great on my wrist and just seems to be a bit more substantual for sum reason.. IDK i guess its kind of hard to explain. But i do love it.
I was looking around at the local AD and the salesman noticed my SD4k and asked if I wanted it cleaned up. I said sure, expecting some light wiping with a polishing cloth. It came back as if they boiled it in water. Apparently they steam cleaned it. I would assume the seals are good even after shooting steam right at the watch. Thoughts?
