What are the opinions about......
redesigning a fake or replica? I've got a "Bolex" that was debunked right here on WTF. I do like the watch and was wondering what the opinions were about changing the watch (and I don't mean with a hammer)so it no longer is trying to be somthing it's not. Like maybe changing the face. I mean smashing it isn't going to get your money back or hurt the one who gave or sold it to you. What if you just changed it or modified it and of course removed the brand name from it? Is this considered acceptable?Your thoughts gentlemen and ladies.

Looking to buy my 1st: Looking for opinions
So I've spent a lot of time looking and have come down to 2 watches. My 359 is unwell
I had to leave my 359 at the Panerai boutique yesterday because it's not very well. I've only worn it twice since picking it up; I rotate my watches usually for a week at a time and set them for the week on a Sunday night (it wasn't the 359's turn but I wanted to wear it again). The second time I went to wear it a few weeks ago after we came back from a short trip, it kept stopping three seconds (literally) after I set the time. I got it going on the Monday morning and never worried after that but I messaged my man at the boutique as a precaution and he said to bring it in. I never had a chance to take it in that week because I was horrifically busy at work and then then had to fly down to Brisbane. I took it in yesterday and it had run down because I've been away for a week. He wound it and then set it and it stopped on two consecutive occasions. Then when he managed to get it going, it was running slow. Needless to say, he's absolutely mortified and is taking it personally. Obviously

Datejust 41 TT or GMT 2 TT for next watch
I am torn between the new two tone Datejust 41 (yellow gold steel, champagne face, fluted bezel, jubilee) and the new GMT 2 ceramic yellow gold steel two tone. On workdays, I usually wear a quartz Tag Heuer Formula 1 with black face on steel bracelet as my beater, and I already have a non-ceramic date steel Sub. I am concerned the GMT 2 may be too repetitive in appearance to my Tag and my Sub. On the flip side, I worry the Datejust would be too flashy for casual wear.Any advice? The new Rolex would be worn mainly on weekends for nice events, meetings and dinners, etc, ranging from country club casual (polo shirt, chinos, no jeans) to suit and tie. I’m in my late 40’s.Thanks in advance for your input!
