This watch works great for me when I'm in the gym (the reason for its purchase). I don't wear it out and about and I don't run with it (I use a Garmin instead), so I can't comment on it as a training watch in that capacity.

Okay, I admit I'm a tad impulsive. On a whim a couple months ago (after spending too much on a new watch), I sold my mint condition SMP 2254.50. I was happy to sell it, but saddened every day by it's absence. Last Friday, I broke down and bought another minty 2254.50 (only 3 months old). It arrived yesterday. Today I sized the bracelet and am wearing it right now. It's nice to see its happy face gracing my wrist once again. Never again will I sell this watch. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:DBack on the wrist again...

Hi Guys, Need some help here. I just inherited my Dad's Rolex which he bought sometime around the late 60's or 70's. I have no idea what model the watch is or when he bought it.
