Ultrasonic Cleaner
I didn't think I'd work on watches as much as I do now. I find more of a need for an ultrasonic cleaner everytime I pop a case back on my Accutrons. Mostly just the gear train and index wheel need the attention, but I'd probably end up using it on other parts as well. Can somebody guide me on which ultrasonic cleaners to look at. I've seen them at prices as low as $40, but I fear that these will not last very long or not clean as well as a nicer one. I'm looking to use it about 1-2 times/week.Let me know your thoughts, opinions, and recommendationsThanks-Johnny

My Father's Vintage Hamilton
Hello AllI just came back from my jeweler with my father¡¯s vintage Hamilton and wanted to share a story and some pictures with you. As the story goes, the watch was originally given to my grandfather by my grandmother as an anniversary gift in the early 1930's. (We are not sure of the exact date as no one can remember that far back) After my grandfather¡¯s death, it was passed down to my father, who wore it everyday for many many years until his death in 2002, when it was then passed down to me. I have keep this watch under lock and key untouched since then but recently decided to have the watch serviced/restored. We replaced the crystal and strap, serviced the movement, and polished the case. I left the dial and hands as is, as I thought it would give the watch a more authentic look. I think it came out great, but I am also interested in your thoughts as well. After doing some research we believe this model to be the "Hamilton Cushion - Engraved".
