Invicta 16124 wrist watches news:
at no extra cost. my AD brush finished my bracelet. I think this high lights the bezel more,& is a great improvement. the PCL's tended to pull your eyes away from the beautiful bezel.what do you think?
I was too lazy to write a new post, so I'm just copying the information from my blog entry:When I came back to work from lunch, I was informed by the security guard that a parcel was waiting for me. My Strela had made it's way from Germany to my office, in Mumbai, in just 5 days! Fantastic time, considering the shipping was free! Here are some un-boxing pics:Well packaged :)It came with a stock black leather strap, but the quality wasn't to my liking, so I swapped it with a brown one from my old Lorus. This Strela was a re-issue of the watch worn by Alexei Leonov during the first ever space walk on 18th March, 1965. It has the proven Poljot 3133 caliber, which replaced the old 3017 caliber, present on the original watch. As you can see, this is a limited edition series, with mine being no 93/500 :)The quality of the dial took me by surprise. I've heard stories of poor quality control on Poljot watches, but I have to say, the dial seems really well built. The case is 38mm across, which is
Hi All,I'd really appreicate some help on the wisdom of purchasing a watch for a 40th birthday present to myself.I really like both the Tag Heuer Microtimer and the Oris Skeleton engine watch. The Tag is higher priced and has more prestige which i think would transfer to a better price fetched if selling. The Oris is a lovely mechanical watch which may well be better made but doesn't have the brand prestige, which I think may effect potential future selling. At the end of the day I may just decide sod it and go with the one I like the most. TYI would really appreciate some thoughts and suggestions on this. Also, any other ideas for a 40th bday pressie?
Usually when I post on the Omega forum I am complaining that the new Omega line is getting thicker and over priced... (flame suit on )Omega was actually what got me into watches many years ago (Bond seamaster from Golden Eye) even though I have been away from the brand for a while and disliking the newer line, I Finally got the PO I wanted... 2500d version to go along with my Rolex Explorer.I got to say the 2500 PO is a great watch...
I walked into an AD this afternoon looking for one of the hard to find Rolex SD43. As always, it wasn't in the case, but I did ask the saleslady about it's availability. She said they did not have one in stock at the moment. I mentioned to her I called a week ago asking about it's availability and was told they are taking orders for the watch but on the condition payment is made in full.I asked about ETA on the order. She said up to 3 months. I told her I wasn't keen on waiting that long for it. She asked me to have a seat and went to get the manager. When she and the manager came back, I mentioned that I was a previous customer and purchased a YM2 SS from them. When I told them my name, they pulled a sheet of paper out with my full name on it and the words Rolex Sea Dweller on it. I do recall I emailed them about the Sea Dweller over a month ago and figured they probably took down my info in case one ever came in. Still, it was kind of odd to see.At that point, the saleslady asked the
