Wary About Buying A Watch Sight Unseen Online? Photoshop It To Your Wrist!
All the time we spend looking at watches online will never give us a clear indication of how a watch is going to look on our wrist, which is one of the most important factors in buying a watch. Several times I have nervously opened up a watch box to see the new watch I've never seen before, but just purchased. My hope is that the watch looks good on me, and is what I expected. Thankfully enough, I've never been disappointed. In fact, I am usually pleasantly surprised. Regardless, for many weary watch buyers, the personal look of a watch is of the utmost importance.The most obvious solution to this dilemma is to go into a watch store and try the watch on. For most of us, this is not an option as we do not reside near a retail location selling the watches we want, nor is a retail location even available. Without this option we resort to the extremes of caveat emptor, and gamble on taste and style. However, this might be less of an issue with a clever sales tactic I recently learned of. W

From 7 sec slow per day to spot on..! Very happy now!
I bought this new model Navy brand new in december 2014. I was a bit dissapointed as the watch was running 7 sec slow per day. :-(I decided to wear it a few weeks anyway before sending it to the spa because I wanted to wear my new friend for a while.Now 4 months later the watch is running spot on. I adjusted the time to summertime two weeks ago and it is 2 sec behind today after two weeks. So 2 sec slow in 14 days. I did not do anything to the watch just wear/enjoy it everyday. I am very happy that I didn't send it in for service yet and that the watch is so precise now. So what is next?
I repressed my Panerai obsession to long. At one point I had four and went down to two, now back to 3 thinking about 4.233, 424, 449, 249, 372 (if I had the wrist). I kinda want a date, but all the date models are autos and thick (i.e. 388). I like them thinner. I know the older 424 had a date, but Cali and date doesn't catch my eye.
