Another Record Year for COSC in 2008
After setting records in 2006 and 2007, the Contr?le officiel suisse des chronom¨¨tres (COSC) once again issued a record number of attestations in 2008 with 1,599,588, an increase of +8.6% over the 2007 results. The number of timepieces submitted rose by 10.6% to 1,676,515. Of these, 1,536,950 were awarded to mechanical movements and 62,638 went to quartz calibers, with the large majority of the latter (56,224) going to Breitling products. Audemars Piguet has released a new take on one of its most popular model, the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar. The latest iteration follows the release of the last QP wristwatch in 2012 with an upgraded and upsized movement, a slightly more complicated display, clearer dial, and larger case size. All details below. 1 OF 6 The Reference 26574.1220 comes in four different versions, two in stainless steel and two in rose gold with either a navy blue or silvered "Grande Tapisserie" dial. Due to the enlarged case size (now 41mm up from 39mm), the dial and its indications are more legible. Well I already had the MK 10 and MK 11, so the logical advance would be the MK 12.I just bought this, complete with both boxes, paperwork, and the watch had been serviced by IWC Schaffhausen, with the bill. The watch came with both braceletts, leather and stainless steel...So what more could I ask for?

Anyone have an Omega Railmaster?
just killing some time at HK airport (flight was delayed and had to change gates to the other side of the airport). So I took a look at the Omegas and saw a Omega Railmaster. The saleslady said that they are exclusive to asia. Nice looking watch. very simple looking and classy. not to big either mabye 38mm?. no date either. had a nice black face and pretty styling hands. Just wondering if anyone has one and what do you think. Sorry for no pic as my cameras memory card is full right now.Dan
