Hi. I am new here. I have been visiting the forum from time to time and it has been a great source of information. Really enjoying it.I was bitten by the Rolex bug when I was 11 years old and saw the GMT my father's friend was wearing.I bought my first Rolex (GMT Pepsi of course) 20 years later in 1999I currently own apart from the GMT a DJ silver dial, Tudor 94210 silver dial (beautiful watch) and Milgauss GV which I purchased early this year.Here is the question and I would appreciate your help.I have wanted a white dial Daytona almost as long as I have wanted the GMT.A new one is waiting for me to pick up on Friday.Also a pre-owned Zenith Daytona came up from another source at a litle lower price.Love the more classic Zenith but also love the idea of a brand new watch.Cannot have both. Need to decide. what would you do?Pete

Talk about getting your money's worth. In an era where gas and food prices are going up daily while the Federal Reserve prints trillions of dollars by night, it is time to assess the addiction.Here is a beater I recently purchased for $14 bucks. It has greater accuracy than an El Primero and gives me lots of useful info with just a push of a button. I've worn it in the rain and it seems to keep the water out. Many complications like day of the week. And, it comes on its own 'homage' to leather bund strap in high-end vinyl. On-lookers wonder if I might have dropped $10,000 on it. How would they know? A good value for the HOG at work.

Traded my omega po for a skyland avenger today... Couldn't be happier!
I had the opportunity to trade my Omega PO for a near mint Breitling Skyland Avenger 45mm today.... and I'm so glad I did! I purchased my Omega PO 45.5mm Orange bezel when the watch was first released about 10 years ago. It was just one of those watches that spoke to me when I tried it on. But as time went on I wore it less. Maybe it was because the orange bezel didn't really fit my work attire. So I came across a local dealer selling a pre-owned Avenger and worked out a straight across trade. I think I the better end of the deal for sure. My PO retailed for $3300 when I purchased it and the Avenger was $5000. Today the PO sells online around $2000 and the Avenger sells for $2700. My first Breitling! Hopefully not my last!
