- Great watch and great price. The first one I purchased from online shop, years ago (20) and the case finally gave out. Now I have two of these watches. Should last at least another 20 - 30 years.

Omega 224.30.55.21.04.001 wrist watches news:
Here is a great watch for those who like a something that is highly functional and will turn heads. This watch certainly gets that "Let me see that" gawk from most people, yet it is deceptively simple. The history of watches and gauges are closely related. Both are measuring instruments which require legibility and precision. Although watches are mobile while gauges are usually relatively stationary.I am actually surprised that more watches do not take that approach that Azimuth Watch Company took with the Mecha series. The idea is to separate the various time indications in to their respective windows. Watches have been attempting to deviate from the standard watch shape for a long time. One good example are "jumping hours" watches. On these watches, the hour indicator is actually a digital indicator of what the hour is, and the minutes are still represented in the circular fashion with a hand. This concept potentially makes reading what time it is much faster, because you care able t
Kari Voutilainen is well known for his exquisite finishing and dial work. In fact, he recently bought the Comblémine dial-making factory to add to his workshop's dial-making capabilities. This shows in his GMT-6 for Only Watch 2015, with a unique dial. The white-gold dial combines guilloché and enamel techniques for a beautiful effect, with the GMT complication at 6 o'clock. The movement features Voutilainen's direct impulse escapement with two escape wheels, and is a joy to look at. The massive balance wheel beats at 2.5Hz, held in place by a thin, black-polished bridge. The 39 mm case is stainless steel, and features Voutilainen's signature teardrop lugs. 1 OF 1 For an event like Only Watch, you can expect a bit of embellishment on the lot descriptions. First off, the movement is not "all-new." It is the same as the movement found in the series production GMT-6. Second, it is definitely not "the first watch to use two escape w
Okay, guys, it's time for a mini-rant or just me being fickle again. In recent weeks, I've been wearing my heavier watches, particularly my Invicta Reserve Pro Diver and Seiko Sumo, and have found the weight annoying.Could be the advent of warmer weather, but I find myself breathing a sigh of relief when I swap out to a lighter watch or slip one of my slim dressy pieces on my wrist. So, as Seinfeld says, what's the deal with these chunks of steel? Why is a massive piece of metal dangling on your wrist a good thing? One company, Renato, even goes so far as to engrave the weight (I saw one WTFers watch at 162 grams) on the case.Slim and light is always better, at least for me. I prefer thin-soled Italian loafers and dress shoes to chunky wingtips.I can't weight for the winds of fashion to blow back towards lighter timepieces.
I was seriously late to the party the other day,so I'm getting a good jump on Wednesday! I'll be sporting my 300M all day.
