- I ordered this watch for my husband was undecided about ordering the ladies watch for myself so I did not. I now really regret not ordering it. This is a very elegant classic looking watch. Nice choice

- I like this watch. I get a Timex Expedition when ever i need a new watch. They are stable, inexpensive, and last a long time. I appreciate the fact that Timex adds new features but also imves on the current features.

Omega 323.32.40.40.04.001 wrist watches news:
Hi Guys,After much consideration I'm going to buy a Deepsea. At the moment I have a D series seadweller in mint condition which will have to make way for my new addition. The question is, what sort of price could I look to sell it privately or what price would be fair to ask the AD as a part exchange on the Deepsea? I live in the UK and would greatly appreciate any advice especially if you have found yourself in my position.Senni
I know most times when we hear about a retailer it's to complain, but here's a happy ending. I own(ed) a Tiffany's SS quartz watch. It came on a decent leather band, and a few months later I purchased a croc strap also. Changing straps and battery replacement is free for life at Tiffany's when you purchase one of their items. Well, the only thing that bugged me about my watch was the simple fact it was not an automatic. I went to get some info for a fellow WTF member and saw the new in-house automatics. SWEET! Here's the good part: they let me trade in my quartz AT FULL VALUE on the new auto, AND put my croc strap on, AND even let me keep the original leather band. Here's a few shots....tell me this isn't a great looking display back:
I have a vintage Westclox Pocket Ben (Luminous) that is running too slow. At its' fastest setting, it is loosing about 10 minutes in a day. If some sort of repair can be done somewhat easily, I would like to try before replacing the watch. This watch has no jewels, and it may just be breakdown over time on the other hand, it probably hasn't been oiled in 60 years. Can a lightweight oil, such as that for a sewing machine or electric razor work for a watch? (I did this once with a very cheap $6 watch that I had, it did not prevent it from working.)The watch had very very little ware when I got it, I do not think it was ever really used until I bought it a few months ago. It has always run slow, I just guesstimate the time with it. Any ideas are appreciated. Scream and let me know if I am about to break something Thanks, yall
Well not quite! Seen at Stockholm airport this week
My local AD sales guy claims that Patek makes about 30,000-40,000 watches a year and only 5% are stainless steel watches. On top of that, around 90% of those SS watches are the women's model Twenty 4. I had a hard time believing that, but he was adamant that he was correct. I know 40,000 watches seems about right. But 5% SS would mean about 2,000 SS watches between all models. Even if half produced were the Twenty 4, that would leave only 1,000 for all Nautilus and Aquanaut models.Anyone ever heard this??
