New July Incoming
The end of Spring and start of Summer began a basement cleanup at my wife's parents home. She pulled this little gem out of a box that we had posted in the FREE section of Craigslist. Meanwhile, several trucks pulled up to haul away 70-80s typewriters, skis, ski boots, roller blades, chairs, tables, desks, stereo speakers, etc. I was thrilled my wife spotted this for me. Here are pictures from Saturday before any work has been done on it.Some work needs to be done on the caseback. Some gummy residue and discolouring.Bezel is tight from years of not turning. I loosened everything up in a "Spa"dip of warm water and dishwasher soap before I began any polishing.My OM finally has a brother. A Pepsi brother to relate with! (ps I still want the TUNA CAN SBBN007 though!) Then they will be the 3 Musketeers.Now all I have to do is get a battery into this. That was today's task! This is what my AD tells me...He was never able to get one in stock, and now tells me that they are sold out and he won't be getting one.When you hear that something is a limited edition, it's usually a sales ploy..I've seen any shortage of 'limited editions' before.I guess I should have jumped on it when I had the chance.I tried it on at the Omega Boutique in NYC last week....it is absolutely stunning!Better than any photo can possibly show....heads and shoulders above the sub-cOnly reason I didn't jump was because I was sure that my AD would beat the price...

Rolex Outside Box
Does anyone know where I can purchase the outter box for the Rolex GMT II? I'm not talking about the green box the watch is In I'm referring to the box that the green box was in.
