Omega 3220.50.00 wrist watches news:
Sponsored PostRolex is everywhere. Turn on the TV on a Sunday afternoon to watch the F1 and you may as well be watching the Rolex Show with a guest slot of some racing cars. Rolex is a quiet giant, secretive and powerful, and it makes one of the best selling, most often copied luxury watches in the world: the Rolex Submariner. The Rolex Submariner did to watch making what the Model T Ford did to the automotive industry, creating a legacy that still goes on to this day. But how?Contrary to popular belief, the Rolex Submariner wasn't the first water-resistant watch - it wasn't even Rolex's first water-resistant watch. When Hans Wilsdorf founded the brand in the early 1900s, he was already focused on a singular concept: making solid, accurate watches for the average person. His watches were affordable, sold in large numbers and did the job they were supposed to do, admirably. The watch market already had its Rolls Royce and Aston Martin in the form of Patek Philippe and Jaeger-LeCoultre,
Are these two Seiko's from the mid 70's and is the one on the right for a left handed person? Also is the gold tone a quartz movement? These are the best pictures I can get.
I am considering my first German watch. So far, I like 2 options from NOMOS and 1 or 2 from Muhle. The NOMOS offerings seem more unique, and have the (sorta, kinda) benefit of being manufacture movements. They are also pretty reasonable. OTOH, Muhle watches are nicely-done, and have a great rep for accuracy. Since they use nicely modified 7750's in the chronos, it seems likely that they'd be fairly easy to have serviced, should they need work or whatever. I am leaning towards the NOMOS, but I wonder if you think that it'd be a better idea to buy a watch with a really bullet-proof motor. Is this sufficiently important to even being considered when it's time to buy?
