Hello Omega enthusiasts! I am hoping some of you can help me correctly identify this watch. I have scoured the Internet looking for information on it and have only found one photo/description which exactly matches this watch and that was in a German Omega catalog from the 80's. It belonged to my late husband so I can't ask him about it. I also have a Ladies' Omega watch which he gave to me about 10 or 15 years ago and I cannot find any information on that one, other than what I have found on the watch itself. I would like to sell both of them, but I do not know very much about their possible value and I don't want to be taken advantage of. I am hoping someone here can advise me. I have contacted Omega and so far, they have not gotten back to me. Hi everybody,I'm getting ready to buy my first "real" watch.After doing a lot of research I have narrowed it down to a couple of options.I would really like to hear your opinions,experiences and advices.Here are a couple of criteria that my first "real" watch should fullfill.-automatic or handwound-waterresistant/-proof-sturdy/toolwatch-metal bracelet-no blingbling/gold/silver whatever-at least 38/39 mm in diameter-budget is around 3000,- Euro/ $3600,-At this moment I'm really torn between;-Breitling Avenger seawolf-Omega speedmaster-Omega seamaster pro.-Zenith El Primero HW cal. 420-Sinn 756 DiapalLet me know what you think.thanks a lot!!!

IWC = It Wears Comfortably! (ie: INCOMING!)
Gotta love when a watch fits like a glove. The IWC caliber 401 ultra-thin wears as if it only weighs a couple grams, and Adam's ribbon lug caliber 89 (which I wore for a day) was so well shaped it was like it was molded for my wrist. Well, the postman just rang the bell to deliver the 70's Pellation and it's a pleasure to have on - even with a brand new strap!It's a very nice profile and is well balanced. Gotta say I'm feeling very happy (almost smug for lack of a better description) about getting deeper into IWC vintage watches! This one is going to get some SERIOUS wrist time.
