Omega 3570.50.00 wrist watches news:
Well guys, I must be insane or addicted or most probably both!I purchased two Subs this week. I am doing a little "asset redistribution"! That's where you take money out of savings and put it into Rolexes!! So without further ado........Picked this one of from World Class Watches in Santa Fe, NM on vacation this week! What a week. All our grand babies, kids, and a lovely TT Blue Sub!! The price was just superb and I couldn't resist. And this one should be in this week. Will post more photos once I get my grubby hands on it!
I recently obtained a very nice Hamilton RR Special with a 505 movement. The watch did not have a battery clip; however in my spare parts I had one. The seller ever without the battery clip did test it with a battery with a wire to make a connection and it did run, They were correct however they did not run it if for a long period of time. Many times you hear of 500, 501, and 505 movements that run for a while then stops. Typical this problem is the result of the Shock Resist Jewels on the Balance Assembly are loose. On the Balance Bridge there is a Shock Resist Jewel and one on the front of the movement, they both hold the Balance Assembly in place. On the Shock Resist Jewels there is a spring loaded O-ring that has become loose and is not tight within the grove. I simple use a tooth pick and put and tightened the O-ring back into its groove. The only pain in the butt on performing this service is that in order to get to the front Shock Resist Jewel you must remove the stem, hands, and
Saving up for my Bulova Precisionist, I've purposely avoided eBay for the past several months. Did they get rid if the option to ask a seller a question before bidding on something? I just came from there and I can't find that option anywhere.
I recently had some gift cards at Amazon, and ended up purchasing the AVI-8 Flyboy. I got the Miyota 8215 automatic version, and with an attractive tan colored dial. The lug size is 22mm, and I immediately changed out the NATO strap for a custom leather 2 pc strap from bststrap I'd won via a very generous giveaway contest. I'm very happy with the watch so far, and like the easily readable dial, the lume, overall size and appearance. Here's a couple of pics. If anyone else has an AVI-8 watch, feel free to post them here. Eric
