Hey guys,I went to my local Omega AD and found out the prices of few of the models I am interested in. He didn't have any on display at the moment, but he said that he could get it for me whenever I wanted. He's also offering me a discount of 20%. So are you asking Santa for any horologically related presents? Maybe a new watch, winder, tools, or anything else to do with watches? Windy has been snooping around a little, and asked about some pictures here. She even pointed out a Nikon or two on vacation, including the wedding photographer's D60. I know she thinks she's being slick about it and I don't have a clue. Hey, usually us guys are oblivious anyway. I don't want anything as clumsy, so I casually brought up the Canon G9. Advice on crown threads
Hi. If the crown threads catch and then the crown becomes gritty because of a bit of wear, if I clear this with a waxed bit of dental floss (as suggested in other threads here), would this (a) invalidate the warranty, (b) strip the crown threads of oils and does it matter and (c) mean that potentially wax could get through the gasket? Not much should get through the seal. Thanks!
