Incoming December, 2014
My lovely wanted to get me a watch for Christmas. Funds are much more limited this year, so I asked her price range and found a Seiko solar divers chronograph. I know this will approach blasphemy on these fora, but I have been loving my Citizen Eco-Drive watches. They stay very accurate and just keep running using only light to power the watch. Does anyone wear Croton?
I have this one plus one other just like it only in blue. It is a workhorse, Miyota movement, screws in links, push button divers clasp. I wear this all the time, the watch I go to when at home doing yard work or cleaning the pool. Best $129 watch I have.Anyone else have one, or any other Croton?

Your opinion of Michelle watches (or what should I get my GF)
Hello all, I am in the market for a watch for my GF. My budget is sub-$1k, but I would rather spend closer to $750. I have racked my brain and I think I may pull the trigger on a Michelle watch. They seem elegant, simple, and timeless. My GF doesn't own a watch (that I can tell) and has expressed to me that she would like one to wear. This watch would be her "daily" so it would need to dress up and down. Of course I would love to upgrade her immediately to an Omega or Tag, as I think they are great, but it is not the time and not in the budget. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. AC February Adjustment
I recently added my first PP, a 5726. This is also my first AC watch. First question: For AC PPs like the 5726, when do you adjust your date for February? On March 1st or on the 28th / 29th of February? The manual says not to advance the date when it's either the 30th or the 31st because the month change mechanism is in motion. To me it would make since to adjust on the last day of February and before the date change mech is in motion.Second question: Does the movement think February has 30 or 31 days? That is, would you set the date to the 30th or 31st on the last day of February? Reading through the manual I did not see where it specified this. I realize I have a while before I need to worry about this, but I was just wondering.
