Oris Oris 50631 wrist watches news:
Hi folks! Long time lurker from Canada. Well finally in a place where I can buy my first Omega, and I've pretty much decided on a Speedy Date...Unfortunately my hometown has a single AD, so getting a good deal on one is a hard endeavor. That said I'm heading to California for work for a week, and figured it would be a good opportunity to pick one up. I'll be in San Francisco and LA...any recommendations on ADs in those areas? ThanksPhil
I am having my seamaster serviced. The original straight row flex band has u-shaped clips that just push in from the side. No overlapping metal. The day before I turned the watch in, one of these 51 year old clips broke. I don't know what the technical name is for these clips. For sentimental value I would like to keep the watch original. Where can I buy these clips and what is the technical name?
Hi, I would appreciate any help from the member. I am seriously looking to buy a Navitmer. Can you share which AD in the Vancouver area gives the highest discount. If the tag list ie, $5000 where do you start to bargain? Thank you for your help.
Hi all I was offered a trade on my PP 5167a for a Daytona white dial ceramic or an AP jumbo ultra thin blue dial 15202.What should I do?Cheers all!
Last night I took some time and installed a new Rubber B strap (black rubber with sahara tan inset stripe) on my (stainless) Panerai 233. Overall a straight forward process, and easy enough. I don't think I scratched anything. :)Noticed that the Panerai supplied leather and rubber straps have a steel pin tube, and that the clasp screw is in the band really good. Had to pull on that one to get it out and over to the new band. What I did not know, and could not find reference on, was IF the steel pin tubes (2; 1 for each side of the strap) were required to be put in the Rubber B strap or I could just leave them out (the Rubber B seems to not take the pin tubes). Can anyone confirm or provide guidance on this? Thanks. Lovin' my first Panerai! :)
