One of the most exciting announcements at Basel last year was that Seiko was going to be bringing their coveted Prospex line to US soil. Amongst Seiko collectors and enthusiasts, the Prospex line has always been home to some of the most sought after sports models. Watches with good mechanical movements and tough cases. And while there have always been ways to get them if you were in-the-know, now that they are officially here (even being available in shop at Seiko's Madison ave store) the deed is easier.Bringing the line over wasn't the only news of course, they also had new watches and the Prospex Kinetic GMT SUN019P1 really stood out amongst the offerings. A beast of a diver, the watch had strong hints of Seiko's famous Tuna divers in both the case and the dial, but was its own thing with a new design. Which 16610 is more collectable? SEL or Non-SEL
Hi, I am new here. I am looking at the 16610. It has a long history since it transit from 16800 to 168000 and finally to 16610. It didnt have SEL and have lug holes till about 1999? IS the 16610 with lug holes and non-SEL collectable at all or it is too common? It has been a forgotten one.It looks like a 16800 from first look apart from its 904Steel. However over the years, there is minor changes like SEL, cover the lug holes and engraving at rehaut etc. Of course apart from the SubLV, which has all the changes....Hope some expert can give advice.AC.

Help: Date changing at 5:25am not midnight
The date on my Calatrava 3802/200 is not flipping over at midnight. Is this typical for this model's movement or not? Before I flip out and run to my local watchmaker I wanted some opinions. EDIT: I tried it manually several times and it always wants to flip the date at this time.Thanks for your time,Michael
