Oris BC4 4e RHFS Limited Edition

Anyone know this Elgin model?
I've had this Elgin for a few years now, I've never seen another like it anywhere, I've always wanted to get information on it. The case is nickel plate with no wearthrough yet, the crystal does not look original as it does not have a perfect fit and the crown is a completely different color. The watch keeps very good time, well enough to be a reliable daily timekeeper if necessary. I believe that it was produced sometime in the Twenties. Thank you in advance for any information. 7750 movements everywhere
I'm a big fan of automatic watches, especially automatic chronographs. So I'm well aware of the recent dramatic increase in the number of watch companies who are launching new AC models. This poses a question. Where are all these new automatic chronograph movements coming from.Eta can't possibly be making all of these new movements. Most of their production quickly gets cased up in Swatch and a few other bonifide Swiss brands (Eta has also launched the new Val Grange AC movement).Sellita has launched their version, the SW500. However Sellita AC movement production is limited, and their version is not identical to the Valjoux AC movement. The Sellita versions are also clearly struck with the SW500 mark. The markings on these other new AC movements resemble the Eta/Valjoux 7750 markings, but the sheer numbers indicate they can't be from Eta. So where are all the rest coming from? Does anyone have some varifiable information? Thanks.

Is AP planning on making the 15305or in a 41mm case ?
I have been eyeing the 15305or as my first major watch purchase, however i was told by someone that AP is planning on making this same watch in a 41mm. Is this true ? if so when are they planning on releasing it?

No, this is not an incoming thread. Not so long ago, I tried to add a 2nd PP ( ie Nautilus ) to my collection. I have kind of decided it should be gold. Thought it was just a temporary infatuation but it hasn't gone away. To me, this is THE Ultimate Nautilus. ( not my pic )As usual, I did a quick analysis of plus and minusPlus1) It's a PP Nautilus! 2) The wrist presence is second to none. It just blows everything including other Nautilus out of the water3) It's heavy but balance meaning it is not top-heavy as the bracelet support the weightMinus1) The price 2) Too shouty? Bling? 3) Scratches too easily?So what are your thoughts on this? Any existing owners here, please weigh in and share your wrist shots!
