- I always wear a belt loop watch since I work construction and always break a wrist watch. This one is clear, easy to read and the built in flash light is a nice extra.

Oris 01 645 7629 4061 07 5 22 76FC wrist watches news:
Hello All,New guy here, entering the great abyss of fine watches. My first Omega pictured below (currently being serviced):I like vintage watches with an understated elegance and will probably get a Seamaster from the same era at some point. Also fool around with vintage shave gear, Parker 51s and what not.Looking forward to learning more from the knowledgable folks here.Best Regards,Dave
I was wondering if anybody who knows watch movements can tell me if retrograding seconds cause more wear on the movement itself as compared to a movemet with the more conventional sweeping seconds. Maybe it's not the case, but i'm thinking any mechanism that has to torque a watch hand from a 60 second position backwards to the 1second position would be under a fair bit of stress.I am contemplating buying a watch with retrograding seconds and am worried it might cause issues for me down the road in terms of servicing and reliability. Does anyone have any long term experience with a watch that has retrograd seconds? The watch I am considering is the Breguet 5207:
here it goes..Input needed from fellow forumers. I'm thinking of getting back into the AP fold, through the 15400ST( still can't decide which coloured dial). But in order to do that, I would need to let go of a couple of watches from the current collection. As it stands, I have 2 PAM, 372 and 292, and a rolex GMTIIC in my small collection.I was thinking of letting go of the 292, and the GMTIIC for a direct trade, or a little top up from myself.what would you do? quantity over quality or vice versa?thanks

I have and love my circa 2004 16710... have all black and Pepsi bezels, oyster and jubilee bracelets. That’s a tough package to beat, but wondering what fellow 16710 owners are thinking of the new SS Pepsi C?? Would anybody make the trade for the new model... I think I’ll hold tight... love the 16710, think it’s an all time classic, but would love to hear feedback from others. If I didn’t already have my set-up, I’d be very interested in the new model...-Dan
