Oris Mc Nish wrist watches news:
The Schaffhausen-based manufacture IWC will introduce a new addition to its elegant Portofino collection at SIHH 2015 in January. The IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Pure Classic has a simple, understated display and a long-running in-house caliber. The IWC Portofino family has a quiet dial layout, and the Pure Classic shows it at its most legible and direct. The dial features simple, gold-plated hour markers with Roman numerals at 12 and 6. A minutes scale runs along the outside of the dial. The hour and minutes hands are also plated in rose gold, and the dial itself is silver plated. Above it, the sapphire crystal is nonreflective and has an arched edge.Although the dial does not reveal it, the Pure Classic has an impressive power reserve of 192 hours. If you’re looking for the power-reserve indicator, you must turn the watch over: you can watch the full eight days tick down via a display seen through the sapphire crystal caseback. Also visible through the back are the two large bridge
If someone can bring here some light, i will appreciate...Best,M
A couple of fun light shots, and a serious one.
I am really close on picking up a 5146, a watch that has been on my Grail list for quite a long time!So far the problem has been trying to finding one at an AD so I can actually try one on and compare! Finally after months of visiting Ad's and Second Hand dealers I came to one conclusion and that was that I really liked the Cream Dial! However, I am really stuck between the color of Gold that suits my style! I am in love with both the WG and YG for different reasons. I find the WG to be under the radar and simple enough to wear with anything. Yet I find the YG really stunning and it really pop's the dial and show's it real beauty. So could you please share your opinion on which one looks better on my wrist and also your thoughts as to which one would stand the test of time in the long run.thank you for looking.
I don't have a Panerai in my collection.I've seen this discussed before but not sure there was ever a consensus. What's the one and only one to have?? I'd like to add just one and I would want whatever the most desired piece long term would be. There are so many variations and LEs, etc., that it makes my head spin and I end up just not buying one.Thoughts??
