The lucky winner has been selected and will have the opportunity to take his pilot’s license entirely paid for by the brand. Find wallpaper-size versions of the winning images inside. The first-prize winner is Jeremy P. Hampton, from Overland Park, Kansas, for his photo “Future of flight meets the history of flight”. Jeremy’s image was chosen from the 5,000 pictures selected for the competition. Leather strap on a SS Datejust?
I want my next watch to be a "proper" dress watch and as such it needs to have a leather strap in my view.I would love to buy this one (I believe it is a 116139):But there's simply no way I could do it without unleashing the wrath of my wife and seriously endangering my financials.So, is there a way to get a hold of this Rolex croc straps and strap them to a ss datejust?I've seen many ss datejusts with leather straps, but I feel it looks weird since there is an empty space at the lugs and the clasp (ot tang) won't look like the real thing.Any ideas?

Monster winding
My Black monster stopped over the weekend, as i wear another watch on Sat & Sun. While trying to set the date and time, the second hand would move in the direction of the other hands....(i.e) if i was going backwards in time, the second hand would start sweeping backwards as well. And i noticed it was hard to get it going. I turned it a few times and nothing. But as soon as i pulled the crown out and moved the hour hand......it started right up. I just picked up this monster.....is it defective?

Qn on Novelties
Pardon my ignorance.I've browsed through AP site watch browser and noticed only a few watches have novelty written under them.Can someone help me understand novelty better?Does it mean it's more exclusive? Limited? The best series? Coveted? Award-winner in its class?I couldn't help but see that both the ROO Diver (black and silver dials) 15710 are both novelty.How are the pieces labelled novelty? Any rulings etc? If anyone could pass me a link to their site on this would be great. I would just have to read and not waste others' time writing.Thanks!

Hello and thanks for taking my questions.I'm interested in either a 3570 (Hesalite) or 3573 (Sapphire sandwich) watch.First off, this will be a daily use watch at work so it needs to be fairly durable/reliable.Now to my confusion...lol1. I've heard and read conflicting reports on the Hesalite scratch and polish-ability ie,some say most scratches can be easily buffed out, some say the Hesalite doesn't lookas clear or original after being buffed ie. the scratches will always leave a look afterwards. Where do those of you who've polished stand?2. The cost of replacing Hesalite vs. Sapphire? Posts I've seen are approx. $100 vs. $500. Is that about right for the total cost of replacement?3. Magnetic shielding. I work in an environment with some magnetic fields (Boeing cockpit) and am wondering about the shielding of the 3570 vs. the glass of the 3573.Some have said the shielding doesn't really matter because the face is relatively unshielded anyway. Does anyone have a comparison of the shie
